Billings 3 is a time tracking and invoicing application that makes running your business a breeze. The software features a range of handy tools and options. Fancy winning a copy? I’ve tried this as a demo. It makes money easier for lazy people like me. I could really use this for my freelance work. I love the professional invoices it creates and its so simple to use as it syncs with Address book, so there’s no need to re-enter clients info. This really fits well into the Mac-workflow! (I think that was more than one feature I like)
I have to say the amount of fine-grained control that invoice provides is really great! Being able to keep separate invoices for different jobs is particularly useful. All in all a great package.
Just downloading the demo now to give it a go. But I do like the sound that I’d never really need to muck around in an Excel/Numbers spreadsheet to sort out an invoice again :)

I can’t do freelancer job without billings.
Really really easy and nice interface.
It would be very helpful if the timer indicates seconds (Billings 3 displays only HOUR, MINUTES)
I’m always forgetting to do proper time tracking – this would be awesome! I could stop guessing wildly about how much time I’ve spent on a project.

I’ve been looking for a good Mac app for billing and this one looks like just what I want: great UI, ability to manage multiple projects and a breakout of activity and taxes. I’m looking forward to see how the iPhone app will work.

My favourite feature is just how Billings organises and times your projects, then it’s easy to track the time you’ve spent and accurately invoice to your clients. Plus the interface looks great!

A great application that does everything I need.
Easy to use, simple and a very clean UI makes this an amazing option for helping me run my business.
I like how it lets you make custom templates using CSS and HTML, notifies you when payments are due/over due and lets you track the time it takes you to do something.
Along with all the other awesome features this is almost a no-brainer for my business. Would be great to win this to save my small business money that we really need.
I love the idea of having a Google Maps to locate my contacts, it is perfect!

I love the UI. Dealing with money as a creative is so much more fun with a great UX.
I really like the familiar layout of the windows. The parts that really got my attention were the customizable templates and the projects window. Nice looking app!
Downloaded the demo because i have to start a freelance company starting september! Whether i win or not, i’ll be using this software for sure.
Obviously the interface is sexy, but at the same time, I love the integration with AddressBook, iCal, and my GTD philosophy. I’ve been using the GTD method along with zero inbox and Billings falls right into place with everything that I do without interruption.
My favorite feature of Billings is that it helps me not get audited by keeping better records!
My favorite feature would have to be the UI. Everything the app can do is excellent, but the way those features are presented makes it worth every penny.

My favorite feature of Billings is by far the Address Book and iCal integration. The program and UI are so simple to use and only have the features I need, but at the same time link them into programs I use everyday. I would be using Billings fulltime, except I keep pushing off trying to move over all of my data from Quickbooks (which sucks!)….winning a license would sure get me motivated!!!!
I’ve tried it also and must say, after using “On the Job” for a while, I think “Billings” is the more mature one. I love the fact you can see in a greater detail what has been paid and what not. I’d love to use this app as my tool ‘o invoicing.
How to narrow down a “favorite” feature. Hmm… I would have to say I really like the project management and invoicing. I am decently organized now with mine, but Billings 3 would help tremendously.
I really like the map integration and the corkboard for receipts.
I have used Billings before in demo and really loved the very easy way to generate invoices and track time.
I love that it has the OSX feel to it. Makes the less than glamorous business side of design work that much more enjoyable. Having a business degree in accounting I’m used to the humdrum look and feel of financial statements and invoices. This application makes it more appealing! Pick me!

I can’t name just one feature! Everything is awesomely put together! But its looks sure can turn a boring task like invoicing into a fun one.
It all looks very nice, but the timer feature, is not only unique, but it would be worth the cost just for it alone. I don’t know how many times I have lost track of how much time I have worked on a project, to only have only been able to estimate later. This will be a must have for any computer professional even if they work for an employer as IT professional!!!

I think the maps is a great plus, cause I’m lost very often and it’s great to ubicate all the clients. Tough all the other features look great! I did not know this app existed…
